Isn't it good?

Just a few thoughts.
Riding to school this morning was a hopeful hint at Spring. No scarf, no gloves...just warm, damp, verdant air. What a lovely gift.
We're in writing lab listening to the strings in "Eleanor Rigby." Of course, we had to listen first to "Norwegian Wood," one of my personal Beatles favorites.
It is Beatles weather somehow. Maybe the rain glossed slate sidewalks make me think of London. Maybe there's something innocent, creative, new in the air.

rainy weather reminds me of the Beatles too. haha, i believe it is the London aspect. Thanks, I don't like that poem though. I wrote it at 2 o'clock in the morning so I was literally half asleep. Poetry isn't really my thing anyway (I found it funny that they called me a "poet", I wanted to say no I'm a writer) I have heard of the Pilgrim on Tinker Street, I believe it may be in one of my non-fiction anthologies or someone else recommended it to me. I'm seeing Scott tomorrow. auditions..blehh. But I'm excited, perhaps he'll remember my name...

Haha I know, I'm very cruel to poetry. We have a love hate relationship. I love reading it, I hate writing it. hahaha. Ok, I see you all the time for two seconds and I want to say hi but theres always total chaos going on. Like last night at the game I saw you with your husband (who by the way highly resembles the lead singer of Band of Horses) but you were being mobbed by a throng of 8th graders.

as an eighth grade teacher, i believe that gives you only more right to say it.
yeah, i'll have to get you to look at some of my stuff, plus i have a some old New Yorkers i need to get rid of if you want any. do you have a class seventh period? i have study hall then.
